MultiWM-script is first placed in this directory in World Wide Web:

http://www.cc.jyu.fi/~juhtolv/multiwm/

Maybe I'll sooner or later obtain a www-site at http://www.iki.fi/

I also (try to) upload MultiWM to these ftp-sites:

ftp://ftp.jyu.fi/ (MultiWM has got own directory in this ftp-server. I
will sooner or later have a user account for this, if I haven't it already)

ftp://ftp.funet.fi/

ftp://sunsite.unc.edu

ftp://ftp.x.org/

ftp://ftp.gnu.org/

Some of those ftp-sites have gazillions of mirrors. You can try to find
them from so called ftp-search. I tried it recently and it found
MultiWM-R1 from 122 sites. Wow!:

Absolutely first place you must go to is this:

Window Managers for X:
http://www.PLiG.org/xwinman/

It includes very much information about window managers. Links to most
www-homepages of window managers can be found there. Look also section
"News and Discussion" and choose a link "Eternity" and you will find more
links from section "Announcements". Fastest way to get there is this:

http://www.PLiG.org/x-cgi/discuss

And don't forget to check out a section called "Others"

http://www.Plig.org/xwinman/others.html

Red Hat Desktop Contest Winners
http://www.redhat.com/linux-info/dtc/winners.html

The Next Level was a winner and I juse it most. Also 3DWM (fvwm with look
and feel of 4DWM) is available there.

ftp://ftp.huie.hokudai.ac.jp/.u1/X11/contrib/fvwm/MAR_kun/WM/

This is kinda weird place. It has a gazillions of window managers.

Also Yahoo! has very little section about window managers:

http://www.yahoo.com/Computers_and_Internet/Software/Platforms/
X_Window_System/Window_Managers/

Information about X Window System can be found from X Consortium:

http://www.x.org/

XFree86-server can be found here:

http://www.xfree86.org/

But don't forget to check out those commercial X-Servers called
AcceleratedX and Metro-X:

http://www.xinside.com/
http://www.metrolink.com/

Metro-X is also available from Red Hat and also bundled with other
software:

http://www.redhat.com/

This MultiWM-script is GNU GPL-licenced and very proud of it. You can find
more information about GNU and The Free Software Foundation from this
www-site:

http://www.gnu.org/

If you have an account for some Unix-like computer with GNU Emacs
and/or XEmacs installed, you can find some interesting GNU related text
files from directories like this:

/usr/share/emacs/19.34/etc/
/usr/lib/xemacs-19.14/etc/

MultiWM was created with editors GNU Emacs and XEmacs and documentation
files were created mostly with an editor called pico (please don't flame
me about that in alt.religion.emacs. I haven't gone so far in my way to
enlightenment with The Only True Editor, that I could know, how to cut
lines of text file automatically. pico makes lines always as long as the
width of terminal and I like to use it to my advantage).

Some text files provided with MultiWM-script are copied from those
directories in my home computer. I like that text-file called MOTIVATION,
but I didn't dare to include it with this script. I'd like to hear, if
some person mentioned in that file called SERVICE can give support in
using of this script.

I also like to mention my homepage. It has mostly links, but also some
other stuff:

Happy downloading!
