The problem is that some windows apps shell out to DOS to do something
and expect that they don't continue until the DOS session has finished
- i.e. done its work. Unfortunately under OS/2 a new DOS window is started
and as soon as this is open the windows app is told to continue - thus
getting mightily confused when all the files it expect the DOS program to
have produced aren't there!
