UPDATING TO A NEWER VERSION OF SUPER WINLOG

I have tried to maintain compatibility through-out with Winlog.

When updating from a previous version of Super WinLog, you need the file UPDATE.ZIP, this is a zipped file that normally includes all files for updating from the PREVIOUS version, this is so as to keep the zip file size to a minimum.
If you are updating from a older version of Super WinLog then some of the updated files that were supplied with previous updates may be missing, hence some of the functions of the new version may be missing or reduced.
From time to time I will produce a FULL update that will have all the necessary files to bring any old version up to the current status.

The files from the Zip should be extracted into the appropriate folder, replacing existing ones.

The file 'UPDATEDX.exe is a small file that should be placed in the application folder and run after the updated files have been copied - it will make corrections to various databases as may be required, it will not affect stored data.

When running Super WinLog for the first time after an update, you may get error messages upon starting, because of updated preference file - just cancel the messages, and WinLog should initialise OK, after quiting WinLog the new settings will be saved and all should work fine thereafter.
