REQQTH.EXE Version 2.6
29 June 1995

This set of files interfaces the FBB BBS system, with the Buckmaster
CD ROM database as a message type server. The following files are
included with this distribution. This program will not work with
Buckmaster CD versions before April 95.

REQQTH.EXE
REQQTH.CFG
REQQTH.ENG
REQQTH.TXT
HELP.TXT

Starting with the April 95 CD, Buckmaster released a TSR which must be
loaded prior to running the server. See the DOC file included in the
TSR package.

REQQTH is the remote lookup program. Both files REQQTH.EXE and
REQQTH.CFG should be placed in the \FBB\BIN subdirectory. An entry
needs to be placed in the FBB INIT.SRV file SERVER section, to tell
the BBS there is a server attached. Any messages to REQQTH will be
immediately read and processed by the server. The software removes
all calls from the subject line, and the message body, and looks
them up, until it reaches the maximum count specified in the
REQQTH.CFG file. It throws the rest of the calls to the bit bucket.
The reply message will be sent to the originator at the BBS of
origin. An optional @BBS field will be allowed in the subject line.
This optional @BBS will override the last router line. The below
example will look up NK3T KD0M WA4TVS and WB0TAX and send the
reply to NK3T @ NK3T. If you are running a 1 MEG machine, you may
need to do a little memory juggling to run REQQTH. REQQTH uses quite
a bit of memory, and will try to send a message back to the SYSOP
if it does not have enough memory.

      SP REQQTH < NK3T
Subj: NK3T KD0M @NK3T
Msg : WA4TVS
      WB0TAX
      /EX

The reply messages will be placed in the MAIL.IN file which is
checked by the FBB software about every minute. Error messages
will be sent to the SYSOP by the same means.

The HELP.TXT is a help file sent to the user, when an erroneous or
empty request is sent to the server. Please edit this to reflect any
instructions you want to give the user. The included file is a sample
from WB0TAX BBS.

The REQQTH.ENG file contains all the display words used in the program.
This may be changed to suit the local application, but must be carefully
edited. The language file supports a limited set of the FBB $ variables.

The COUNTRY.LST, ALL3.BM, and STA3.BM files used in previous versions
are not used in version 2.0 and above. The CD contains these files, for
easier setup by the sysop. If you are upgrading from previous versions
of the servers, these files may be removed from your hard drive.

In version 2.0, FBB WP information has been added to the lookup. See
the QTHWPALL.EXE doc files for more information on setup of these
programs.

I have a lot of fun programming, but always need feedback for ideas,
and bug fixes. Let me know what is on your mind, even if it is running
fine. Most folks are quiet when things are working right, and gives me
the feeling nobody is running this stuff. Drop me a QSL card and tell me
which program you are running.
