Hello everybody,

  All the versions of TNN since 7 august 90 (modification of DF2AU) are
  configured to use a token-ring with 2 stop bit. But all the KISS versions
  I have are still in 1 stop bit (the last version 1.7 included).

  But it's possible to set the eprom in 2 stop bit (like the PC). You only need
  to change a byte (44h -> 4Ch)

  Use Norton Utilities and research followed sequence : 18h 04h 44h 02h 10h
  and replace it by 18h 04h 4Ch 02h 10h

  So , you'll reduce a lot the number of token recoveries.

Best 73's, Daniel (ON5ZS @ LX0PAC) (sysop of nodes ON5PL and ON5ZS)

Die auf dieser Disc befindliche KISS17.BIN Version hat diese Aenderung bereits
hinter sich ....
