Hmm... How do you get mail out from ELM to LBBS? Well I run Sendmail
5.67b I can not account for any other version/derivative of Sendmail
(i.e. 8.x.x), Smail or MMDF. I am eyeing up zmailer quite closely, and
shall no-doubt be changing my owm system to this in the not to distant
future.

For now here is the gross hack'ed sendmail.cf file which is what I use
for my system. I use a WAMPES derivative still, also the Kernel AX25
on all port all sharing nicely. As such my SMTP outbound queue if
handled by the UUCP mechanisms in exactly the same way WAMPES want.
As I currently don't have a great variety of .ampr.org hosts I mail (as
there is currently no local Internet gateway) I can manage
/usr/local/lib/mail/domaintable by hand. The only exception to the
above if the external compressed (XLZW) SMTP client which needs a few
things doing it to hence not in active duty in the config, this would
disregard UUCP/WAMPESs internel SMTP client completely.

For the BBS side of things a gross hack of picking anything with a ".nts"
on the end of the hostname, and chucking it to the perl script mail.pl.
Simple...

You need to build/update now and again the HA file which provides HA
lookup to the perl script.

At this moment in time the MGateway is really not used as it should be,
I hope to have this fixed before you see this distribution.

If you can successfully do this without running Sendmail 5.67b then I'd
be interested in the config file(s) you used for the setup.

This setup is currently a stop gap until bbs-spool/bbs are implemented.

Unfortunatly I hope the current version is stable enough not to have any
problem with most implmentations. Up until now the setup has had the ability
to be deadly to the BBS network if misconfigured and left unattended for a
while. ]:-)

Good Luck!
