This release provides updates to various packages to reflect some changes
in the kernel source. The changes from version 2.1.9c of the utilities
are as follows:

1. Added support for address masks in the rsparms command.

2. Fixed Rose and Netrom dump problem in listen - patches from Craig Small
   and Jonathon Naylor

3. Added Rose support to the node program, patch from Jonathon Naylor.

4. Minor cleanups in the user_call directory, patch from Jonathon Naylor.

5. Configuration script checks kernel version and that kernel is installed
   and configured.

6. Added beacon 'one-shot' facility. Patch from David Brooke, G6GZH.

7. Updates to the hdlcutils, full duplex from select audio cards, setcrystal
   utility. Patches from Thomas Sailer.

8. Fixed rspf dumping in listen utility - patch from Craig Small.

9. Extracted all pms configurable items out to config.h and search for
   sendmail binary during 'make config'

-----------------

10. Added rsusers.sh, rsmemsiz and nrsdrv utilities from Jonathon Naylor.

11. Many updates and fixes to bring the utils in line with new kernels
again. Multiple netrom routes, multiple rose devices from Jonathon Naylor.

12. New version of node from Tomi Manninen OH2BNS.

13. Added axparms -forward from Jonathon Naylor.

14. Removed "-h <protocol>" from login in axspawn, new login/libc causes
    annoying host name lookups.

15. Added rose support to pms.

16. Added some global definitions to allow programmers to add conditional
    code: #ifdef HAVEAX25, HAVENETROM, HAVEROSE

17. Added support for polled kiss mode - patch from Tomi Manninen OH2BNS.

18. NetRom routing fixes from Tomi Manninen OH2BNS.

19. ax25rtd fixes from Klaus Kudielka OE1KIB.

20. "call" 7plusdownload fix from Herman Robers, PA3FYW.

21. Added Jonathons Rose pseudo digipeating program rsuplnk/rsdwnlnk
    and updated ax25d

22. Added "-c <call>" beacon program to allow setting the beacon source
callsign - patch from Tomi Manninen OH2BNS.

23. POSIXised all signals where possible at Hessu's discovery that the
ax25-utils don't compile cleanly on RedHat/Alpha. Some more investigation
    to be done here.

24. Removed setting of NETROM_PACLEN to match new kernels which do not
    allows it to be set.

25. Updated ax25rtd, patch from Klaus Kudielka OE1KIB.

26. Generalised the X11 path finding, preparing for other X11 based utilities.
The paths detected by the configuration script are at the top of the
    top level Makefile.

27. Added 'kissparms -l' to set Tx Tail. Some users experienced difficulty
    with some TNC's without this.

28. A small change to some of the hdlcutil's to allow them to compile
against xforms-0.81. Thomas, I've no idea whether this change is
correct (grep TJD in hdlcutil/), but there is no longer an fdui
    element in the FL_FORM structure.

29. Fixed the listen utility to handle PID 4 in the same way as PID 94
Thanks Fab VK2FAB for pointing out that it didn't already do this.

30. Hessu thinks he has fixed the listen problem which caused it to
die with a segmentation fault. Problem reports can go directly to
him at: hessu@pspt.fi. Please be sure to tell him what sort of
traffic you were monitoring when it failed.

31. Moved the listen source under the apps directory. Some more cosmetic
    stuff.

32. Added a modified version of Mike Weterhoffs AX25/IP encapsulation daemon
contributed and maintained by Rob Mayfield VK5XXX.

33. Some final cosmetic changes from suggestions from Rick Angell.

34. You can now also set the destination callsign in the beacon.
    patch from Tomi Manninen OH2BNS

35. The node info file is now /etc/ax25/node.info instead of help/info.hlp
    patch from Tomi Manninen OH2BNS

----------------- 2.1.22a

36. Removed AX25_MAXQUEUE as it has been removed from the kernel.

----------------- 2.1.22b

37. Some minor Makefile changes - thanks Thomas

38. fixed some argument checking in axparms.

39. Some minor fixes to ax25rtd and a new configuration file from
    Klaus.

40. 'make installconf' now warns you that it will overwrite files.
    Suggestion from Simon Mudd.

41. The infamous '%' crash in listen has been remedied. Patch from
    Hessu.

42. Richard Adams correctly pointed out that the /var/spool/ax25 directory
used by call is never actually created by anything. A 'make installconf'
    will create it now.

43. A small cosmetic change to the piconfig utility from John Ackermann

44. Added patches to the NetRom NRS driver to provide hardware handshaking.
    patch from Dave Brown N2RJT

Terry Dawson, VK2KTJ
